THIS SITE NOW LISTS SHIPMENTS FOR BOTH THE
SERIAL SQUADRON AND VANISHING SHADOWS WEBSITES.
The Squadron is not an online store like Amazon with a large customer service department, it's a library from which you make special requests for research content as you would from any other library. If you were to make a request for content from the Library of Congress, the situation would be the same. They'll check to see that the masters for the video or videos are in order and ship when the item can be duplicated for you.
Shipping is done in batches according to what can be reprinted how quickly and date of delivery is determined by when disks and covers etc. have been reprinted or copied for you and everything is ready to go. We have over 100 titles available so disks and covers must be manufactured in batches of 1 or 2 titles at a time and cannot be done order by order one at a time, because we cannot reproduce 100 titles every day. So requests are processed in a queue as the disks and covers are assembled and the "status" is logged on this page.
New people who have not made requests from the library before, please understand that we cannot provide "status" updates of individual orders as they are put immediately in the production queue, so please don't ask for them.
Again, please do not send emails to "check the status" of shipments. Some orders from earlier in the year are still being processed due to the crisis that we went through in January which caused us to relocate and we're going as fast as we can and catching up. The "status" updates are on this page, below.
If a request has not appeared on the orders log after 30 days or you think some information is incorrect, contact Richard Davenport who is now doing shipping from Dallas.
Otherwise, look at the instructions and shipment lists below to see when your order is in production or about to ship.
Richard Davenport has been loaded up with disk images, cover inserts, labels, disks and a duplicator and I have begun setting up a lot of Blu-Ray titles which can be manufactured and drop-shipped by an external service and these are good things.
If your request is listed in BLUE TEXT, we have confirmed your request has been received and it will now be assembled.
If it's listed in the right column, it has been packed.
If it is listed in the right column with a star*, it has shipped out.
If your shipment is starred, refer to the tracking number in the email you received to track it.
Or you can just sit back and wait for it to be delivered as things were done in the old days before all this tracking stuff was invented to drive us all crazy. :)

PLEASE DON'T EMAIL TO "CHECK ON" SHIPMENTS! They are being assembled in the queue and shipped as you read this! For a shipment's "status," look at the yellow column at right.
The Squadron is a library from which you are requesting a copy of rare content, not an online store like Amazon.com that ships every day. Shipments are not sent out daily but assembled and sent out in batches, about every two weeks. And we have to wait for cover reprints sometimes before we can send an order out so please be patient. Give us time to order new covers if necessary, then put together what you requested, pack it up and ship it to you. This may take a couple of days or more than a month depending on how much you order and how many things need to be reprinted.
FOR "STATUS" OF A REQUEST CHECK FOR YOUR ABBREVIATED NAME IN THE YELLOW COLUMN ABOVE AND, AFTER YOU SEE IT THERE, USE THE TRACKING NUMBER IN THE EMAIL YOU RECEIVED TO TRACK THE SHIPMENT
Shipment names are abbreviated with first letter of first name and first 4 letters of last name to protect privacy. So if your name is Kane Richmond and you ordered a copy of TRAIL OF THE OCTOPUS your order will appear below as KRICH.

Check your e-mail box for your receipt email which includes your tracking number, and look in the column at the left on this page for your abbreviated anme and order contents listing.
If you received the email with tracking and is not on the list below the order has been received and it has yet to be logged. If you have received that e-mail and see your order at left, the order has been received and is on the table being assembled. SAVE THAT EMAIL as it contains your tracking number. Don't email about the "order status," at this stage, please. The "status" is your shipment is being assembled.
3. WHEN WILL THIS SHIPMENT BE MAILED?
When all the pieces of all requested disks are assembled, and the shipment is packed. Watch the yellow column at left to see when it does.
4. HAS MY PACKAGE BEEN SHIPPED?
To check and see when your order leaves the Squadron HQ and has been picked up by the Post Office, CHECK THE YELLOW COLUMN ABOVE. When the order has been packed is ready to be picked up and sent out, your order will appear on the list at left with a star.*
5. IS MY REQUEST HELD UP FOR SOME REASON?
ORDERS NOT YET ON THE LIST ON THIS PAGE for which you have received a tracking notification are usually on the table and usually awaiting 1 item such as a printed cover or some other supply item which is necessary for shipping and will go out as soon as the necessary item is available. Rarely but sometimes disk masters wear out and must be re-created also. Please be patient. If we sent you an email, we've got your order and are working on it.
6. WHEN WILL THIS SHIPMENT BE DELIVERED?
After you see your shipment listed here, it's out of our hands and in the hands of the post office. To track your order, CLICK ON THE TRACKING NUMBER YOU RECEIVED IN YOUR EMAIL. When the Post Office receives the shipment and scans it, the shipment will track.
7. WAIT FOR YOUR SHIPMENT TO ARRIVE
Please do not email about orders in progress because if a shipment is with the Post Office we can't do anything about it and emails and other sorts of messages from multiple different addresses, different Facebook accounts or the telephone and multiple emails about the same subject will just cause confusion. If you have already sent a message about an order issue, do not send another one. Orders are being logged and worked on.
Sending emails trying to "push" a shipment request will accomplish nothing at all. Again, the Squadron is a LIBRARY, not Amazon.com and your request is for rare content we are trying to make available to you within a reasonable amount of time.
Hint: Large shipments always take longer than small ones, and sometimes it is necessary to reprint covers or remaster disks and that takes time. Which is why we recommend not requesting more than 3 titles at once.
If you want instant results and to see a serial RIGHT NOW, please use the Cliffhanger Channel Online Library instead of ordering disks and you will be able to watch a serial immediately with no waiting at all.
Note: DELAYS IN SHIPPING CAN HAPPEN IF YOUR ADDRESS AS IT APPEARS IN YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT IS INCOMPLETE OR IMPROPERLY FORMATTED.
If your your name or some other part of your address is not formatted correctly on PayPal, that will cause the address not to load properly in our shipping program. Please go into your PayPal account and fix it. A first name and last name is required for all orders.
There should be no commas in your address or after any abbreviations (just use "AVE," or "ST" not "AVE." or "ST.") and states should be 2 letter abbreviations such as PA. Please remove all commas from the address you have set up in your PayPal account
And for heaven's sake, if you have moved, update your address in PayPal before you order. Your package will be shipped to whatever address you have stored in PayPal, which is not going to update your address for you.

FUTURE PROJECTS: The prints of THE SPIDER RETURNS and THE IRON CLAW had some issues not described by the print owner and are being inspected and cleaned and preorders for them will be delayed. Certain chapters for THE SECRET CODE are still being looked for in the collection from which it is being borrowed. Preorders for SON OF GERONIMO and THE SECRET CODE are still valid. SOG is planned for restoration this summer.

To check and see when your order leaves the Squadron HQ and has been picked up by the Post Office, CHECK THE YELLOW COLUMN ABOVE. When the order has been packed is ready to be picked up and sent out, your order will appear on the list at left with a star.*

ORDERS NOT YET ON THE LIST ON THIS PAGE for which you have received a tracking notification are usually on the table and usually awaiting 1 item such as a printed cover or some other supply item which is necessary for shipping and will go out as soon as the necessary item is available. Rarely but sometimes disk masters wear out and must be re-created also. Please be patient. If we sent you an email, we've got your order and are working on it.
6. WHEN WILL THIS SHIPMENT BE DELIVERED?
After you see your shipment listed here, it's out of our hands and in the hands of the post office. To track your order, CLICK ON THE TRACKING NUMBER YOU RECEIVED IN YOUR EMAIL. When the Post Office receives the shipment and scans it, the shipment will track.
7. WAIT FOR YOUR SHIPMENT TO ARRIVE
Please do not email about orders in progress because if a shipment is with the Post Office we can't do anything about it and emails and other sorts of messages from multiple different addresses, different Facebook accounts or the telephone and multiple emails about the same subject will just cause confusion. If you have already sent a message about an order issue, do not send another one. Orders are being logged and worked on.
Sending emails trying to "push" a shipment request will accomplish nothing at all. Again, the Squadron is a LIBRARY, not Amazon.com and your request is for rare content we are trying to make available to you within a reasonable amount of time.
Hint: Large shipments always take longer than small ones, and sometimes it is necessary to reprint covers or remaster disks and that takes time. Which is why we recommend not requesting more than 3 titles at once.
If you want instant results and to see a serial RIGHT NOW, please use the Cliffhanger Channel Online Library instead of ordering disks and you will be able to watch a serial immediately with no waiting at all.
