In the first zombie movie ever made, Bela Lugosi as voodoo master Murder Legendre is approached by a man who wants to marry Madeline, another man's fiancee, and to coerce her to do so by supernatural means. Legendre suggests she could be controlled by being turned to a zombie. Does she die? Has she been brought back to life? Is it not really that good of an idea to mess with zombies? It all leads up to a violent conclusion on an elaborate set.
